Description

Friends House Garden was developed during the construction of Friends House, the headquarters of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), between 1924 and 1927. The Garden was initially conceived of as being a private space but was soon opened up to the public. It is enclosed by a low Portland stone wall and railings, it features two square plant-lined gardens and a magnolia tree.
