Description

Belair Park is the former grounds of the nearby Belair House and were constructed in 1785, following WW2 the house and grounds were bought by Southwark Borough Council and converted into a public park in 1965. In the centre of the park there is a large lake which doubles up as a wildlife area from which several species of animals and insects can be spotted. The park also features four tennis courts, a skate park, a children’s play area, a football pitch and a cricket pitch.
